Summer Processes

Congrats! You've made it through the school year! The following bullet points outline key summer milestones to ensure you are moving data through Salesforce, reviewing settings, and preparing for your new CWS program.

  • Moving all students to the next grade
    • Move students to the next grade shortly after your school year has ended. This will ensure a smooth transition of your 12th graders to alumni, and 9-11th grades to their next year (or unenroll as applicable).
  • Sign up for trainings
    • Operations trainings and refresher courses are scheduled through the summer. It is required that at least one person from your team attends the live sessions or views the recordings. Look for these posted or email salesforcehelp@cristoreynetwork.org with questions.
  • Submit new students (9th graders and transfers) for upload
    • Look for your Salesforce admin's request for your new class of 9th graders. Their information will be uploaded and available in Work Studyforce upon completion. Email salesforcehelp@cristoreynetwork.org with questions.
  • Update your School Custom Settings
    • As a CWS team, discuss your custom settings. Do you think a change to how time cards go out would be valuable? Or how supervisor receive timecard reminders? Review your school calendar and update Make Up Day Scheduling. A help video for this is linked here!
  • Place students into jobs
    • Send job descriptions to your partners. When returned, Work Studyforce will generate the job record automatically complete with supervisor and job information.
    • Utilize the Mass Job Creator for all jobs that don't have a job description form turned in. After completing this step, start the Job Placement Tool with your team to begin assigning work study positions to your student associates.
  • Manage student requirements
    • Some partners may have onboarding requirements that your CWS team will take responsibility for completing. To create tasks, track, and fully organize these, WorkStudy Force utilizes Manage Student Requirements
