Parent and child accounts are a native Salesforce feature that allows users to organize their accounts in a hierarchy. This feature is most useful in Work Studyforce for situations where you have a single partner with multiple locations. Each account should have a unique address, so you'll want to create child accounts for each location, and link them to a single parent account to represent the partner overall. Please watch this tutorial video for information on setting up parent and child accounts
Parent and child accounts are also used in the Cross-Sell Database, linking your local accounts to cross-sell records available to teams across the country.
