[Emailing] - Setting up 1:1 Emails

To email a contact directly from Gradforce, you first need to walk through a few setup steps right in the 1:1 email interface.


1. Navigate to any contact record.


2. Locate the activity timeline on the record page.



    3. Confirm that the "Email" tab is open and click anywhere in the box that reads "Write an email...".


    4. If your school uses Gmail, select "Yes, Connect Gmail" and follow the prompts to connect your Salesforce account to your Gmail account. If your school uses Outlook or another email provider, select "No, Send through Salesforce".



After updating your email preferences (including your signature) and setting up 1:1 emails, you can now send a message to one or many alumni!
